b+w+a shot of red

This invite was sleek and stylish with our one shot of red there on the tag backing. We printed this with black thermo (raised) and it looks amazing. Love the pattern paper backing inside the enclosure. This white shimmer paper has a luxurious dimpling texture that's just lovely! As one of the assistants said while we were assembling these, can I just curl up in bed with this paper! Love that....

Fall Splendor

Kelly and Jason chose a Classic Greenstar Design, but added their own twist.

We did a cherry blossom branch design element which wraps around the exterior of the invite.

Inside boast color as we were able to incorporate two beautiful fall colors.

Monti's Masquerade Wedding

This wedding is definately not your typical affair. That's what made working on this project so fun. The wedding is actually taking place on Halloween at an amazing venue here in Chicago. The bride and groom are hosting an masquerade ball for their wedding. We created the invite using eggplant and silver with loads of victorian inspiration. The invites are truly a Halloween Treat to recieve in your mailbox. Look for additional paper goodies to come that will make an appearance at the ball.

kristin's programs

lovely + classic.

a deep champagne paper with black satin ribbon.

congrats Kristin!

tiffany

here are some shots of a recent job for Tiffay. I've been working with her for a long time on all her printed pieces, including her save the date and shower invite.

These are simple, but gorgeous. Thermo printed in chocolate ink on champagne shimmer. I love the way the names look in this font and her adorable outer tag!

Look for her finishing touches to appear in a couple of weeks, including her program and nifty favor tags.

one of my cool brides - please do this!

I love this idea of adding punchy one liners to your place cards, we could totally customize it to the couple.

Think of what a conversation starter for the guests when they are seated?

Please, please I know you want to!

ps, and just for fun I used famous people's names...I do that quite a bit on samples.

nicole + john

hot pink, apple green and a fabulous b&w pattern = yummy invites!

And of course Ms. Sara's finishing touch on those pink envelopes.

program with style

wrapped these up last week, I love how we incorporated this couples signature 'logo' on all of their pieces, lastly was the 3 layered program with snappy brad to hold it all together.

that's a wrap!

I know there is a sneak peak of these two posts below but they came out so well I think they deserved their own spotlight.

Envelope wraps with guests addressing printed on each one, with the 'wrap' part going around the back with the return address.

I love this color scheme, can you imagine getting this in your mailbox?!

katy

Katy deserves a shout out and here it is. She has been with me since May-ish while she is off for summer break from college. This place would have crumbled by now if it wasn't for her. Just for fun I took some behind the scenes shots of her last week working on the hot pink and brown invite....

Thanks for all your help!

inspired by....

this:

Every day – together with the sun – God gives us a moment in which it is possible to change everything that makes us unhappy. Every day we try to pretend that we don’t realize that moment, that it doesn’t exist, that today is just the same as yesterday and will be the same as tomorrow. But if you pay attention, you can discover the magic instant. It may be hiding at the moment when we put the key in the door in the morning, in the silence right after dinner, in the thousand and one things that all seem the same to us. This moment exists – a moment when all the strength of the stars passes through us and lets us work miracles.

cool casual wedding

I just love it when I get to work on fun different projects. This couple is active in the new orleans music scene locally here in Chicago. We used that cool accordion line drawing to drive this piece and the result is casual and funky!

With a non traditional invite, the response card perforates off for an easy postcard mailer.

chandelier + yummy pattern = fab shower invite

Love this design, it's so simple, but has HUGE impact!

Will look great on the guest's fridges!

sidebar...working on her wedding invite as well, if the shower invite isn't enough of a sneak peak, the invite will be even more delicious!

stay tuned.....

debbie, debbie, debbie

-debbie- is actually a lovely gal that I went to high school with! shes known me forever and she probably has old band pictures stashed somewhere that she could use as evidence, that's right I said 'band pictures'!

Anyhoo, her invite looks amazing and I have to give props to Debbie for the amazing and fun color scheme on this one! Hot pink and orange, LOVE IT! And that paisley backing just makes this really chic and gives it that finishing touch.

Thanks debbie for letting us put together this invite for you!

Happy Wedding!

a 'zanghi' no more . . .

The below invite is for a very good friend of mine, in fact I was maid of honor in this wedding. Erin and I have been friends since college, so when it came time for invites she knew I would help her 100%. These were some really easy decisions for Erin she knew exactly what she wanted. Gorgeous tiffany blue and chocolate shimmer made this elegant and modern at the same time. I really like the way the placement of the names and date on the outside of the enclosure had kind of a 'peak a boo' effect when her guests' opened them. Her day tuned out to be absolutely lovely!

Black, White, & Silver

this client is getting married in Vegas, but having a super swank cocktail reception when they return. we went with a small square invite with lovely details. from the cool opal paper to the luscious satin ribbon. AND the best detail of all? The black linen envelope! And of course, Sara addressed them beautifully!
